About SkaRaah

Last updated: 24 October 2026

One route.
Many connections.

SkaRaah is an Indian community shared-ride platform being developed in Telangana. It is designed to connect people who are already travelling in the same direction so they can coordinate a suitable journey, share available seats and split travel costs.

What problem is SkaRaah solving?

Many people travel along the same routes every day, while others struggle to find convenient and affordable local transport. At the same time, vehicles often have unused seats. SkaRaah aims to bring these people together through a clear digital ride-coordination experience.

How SkaRaah works

A ride provider publishes a planned route, departure time, available seats and suggested journey contribution. A passenger searches for a compatible route, reviews the available information and sends a request. If accepted, both members use a guided pickup and trip flow.

SkaRaah is not a taxi operator. It is a technology platform for coordinating community members travelling on compatible routes. SkaRaah does not own vehicles or employ drivers.

Who is SkaRaah for?

SkaRaah is being created for everyone, including daily commuters, workers, students, families and local communities. Although the first focused pilot is planned for Telangana, the vision is broader: make shared local travel easier to understand and coordinate across villages, towns, campuses and cities.

Safety and trust

The planned experience includes account verification, private driver-document review, visible route and vehicle information, pickup OTP confirmation, trip status, reporting tools and safety guidance. These features are designed to support informed decisions; every member must still verify the person, vehicle and journey and follow applicable road-safety laws.

Our current stage

SkaRaah is an early-stage product under active development. The Android app and supporting platform are being prepared for a focused pilot. Features, availability and operating areas may change as testing progresses.

Our mission

To make everyday journeys more connected and affordable by helping people travelling along compatible routes find each other and coordinate responsibly.
